How to start meditating
To be calm. Be balanced. To realize oneself. All these theses, like many others, can become the basis of a worldview that paves the way to many positive forms of perception of oneself and the surrounding reality. One way to embark on this path is meditation.
How to start meditating:
1. Get ready for meditation to become a daily ritual. And these changes will not only be positive, they will affect all processes.
2. Determine the place in the house where meditation will be comfortable, this is very important. After all, you are going to embark on the path of self-knowledge, so let the sources lie where it is quiet and calm. Do not worry if there are several such points of strength, because in the mornings it is comfortable, for example, on the balcony, and in the evening in the bedroom.
3. For the first lessons, do not forget to set the alarm for 10 minutes. This will help to concentrate and not look at the watch every minute.
4. Breathe correctly. Remember our “Lessons of Proper Breathing”, breathe with your stomach, take five deep breaths through your nose, feel how the body is filled with energy.
5. Relax. Straighten your back, but do not strain it. The pose should be as comfortable as possible. With each exhalation, feel the tension go away and your thoughts clear.
6. Pass a stream of thoughts through your consciousness. Your task is to cleanse the brain, not allow the negative to stagnate, release it and free the mind for pure and bright. At first this will not be easy to do, but each time the state of “mental purity” will come faster.
7. After the alarm, do not rush to get up. Open your eyes slowly, take a deep breath and exhale slowly. Knead your arms and legs. Give yourself a moment to analyze new sensations. Fixate the positive and remember these feelings.
